Swerve Sweetener - Your Ultimate Sugar Replacement

Swerve is a rapidly growing manufacturer of the “Ultimate Sugar Replacement”. The central message behind swerve is to enjoy your life, treat your body well, and to be happy and healthy. Swerve was developed in 2001 to help people feel their absolute best while still enjoying their favorite desserts.

Swerve helps people understand blood sugar control and how balancing blood sugar can positively impact energy, weight management and so many other aspects of health. Swerve gives people the ability to indulge in sweet treats yet still maintain stabilized blood sugar.

Swerve is a true sugar replacement because it's sweet and delicious! Unlike other natural sweeteners like stevia, it has no bitter aftertaste and measures just like sugar. It's also the only sugar replacement of its kind that browns and caramelizes just like sugar, so all of your favorite recipes will be a breeze.

  • With ZERO calories and ZERO glycemic index, Swerve is the ideal sweetener for cooking and baking.
  • Swerve tastes and measures exactly like sugar. It is made with only natural ingredients that have been part of the human diet for thousands of years and are found in a variety of fruits and vegetables. Unlike many other sugar alcohols (polyols) Swerve does not have laxative side effects often encountered by other sugar alcohols such as maltitol, xylitol or sorbitol.
  • Natural
  • No preservatives
  • No artificial ingredients
  • Does not impact blood glucose levels

Stay Cool With These Simple Popsicle Recipes

What better way to beat the heat than with a delicious popsicle? Nothing refreshes on a scorching day quite like an icy treat pulled straight from the freezer. Best of all, there is one for every palate—and diet.

Making your own popsicles at home is surprisingly simple. All you’ll need is a set of popsicle moulds and a bag of popsicle sticks, both of which can be easily found online or at your nearest home goods store.

Once you have your tools, you’re ready to get mixing! We’ve listed some of our favourite popsicle recipes below, but they are truly just the beginning. Don’t be afraid to experiment with juices, fruit, yogurt, and any ingredients that you and your family enjoy.

Raspberry Yogurt Pop

1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1 cup raspberries

3 tbsp honey

2 tbsp sugar

1 tsp vanilla

Blend yogurt, berries, honey, sugar, and vanilla until combined but still chunky. Pour into popsicle moulds and add sticks. Freeze until solid, about 6 to 8 hours.

Frozen Pina Colada

1 can coconut milk

1 cup crushed pineapple

2 tbsp lime juice

1 tbsp sugar

Blend coconut milk, pineapple, and lime juice until just combined. Pour into popsicle moulds and add sticks. Freeze until solid, about 6 to 8 hours.

Strawberry Lemonade Pops

2 cups homemade or store-bought lemonade

1/2 cup thinly sliced strawberries

Carefully place sliced strawberries in each mould, arranging slices as desired. Pour lemonade into moulds over top. Freeze until solid, about 6 to 8 hours.

Strawberry Banana Swirls

1 1/2 cup plain yogurt

1 banana

1/2 cup strawberries

Blend yogurt, berries, and banana until combined but still chunky. Pour into popsicle moulds and add sticks. Freeze until solid, about 6 to 8 hours.

Tropical Treat

1 can coconut milk

1/2 cup fresh or frozen sliced mango

1/2 cup canned or fresh diced pineapple

3 tbsp pineapple juice

Blend coconut milk, pineapple, mango, and juice until just combined. Pour into popsicle moulds and add sticks. Freeze until solid, about 6 to 8 hours.

Strawberry Watermelon Pops

3/4 cup strawberries

2 cups cubed seeded watermelon

1/4 cup lime juice

2 tbsp sugar

Peach Yogurt Swirls

1 1/4 cups plain Greek yogurt

1/2 cup diced ripe peaches, nectarines and/or plums

1/4 cup honey

3 tablespoons water

In a small saucepan, combine peaches, honey, and water. Cook over medium heat until the fruit is tender, about 4 – 7 minutes. Let cool. Gently fold in Greek yogurt, but do not over mix in order to maintain a swirl pattern. Pour into popsicle moulds and add sticks. Freeze until solid, about 6 to 8 hours.

Blueberry Lemon Ices

1 cup blueberries

Zest of 1 lemon

1 cup vanilla yogurt

In a blender or food processor, puree the blueberries until smooth. Mix in lemon zest. To create a fun pattern, alternate adding the blueberry puree and yogurt in popsicle moulds. Add sticks and freeze until solid, about 6 to 8 hours.

Healthy Halloween Treats

Spooky season is in full swing, and with that comes all of the Halloween-themed treats. But, before the trick or treating starts, why not try a few healthier options that kids will truly love!

Monster Teeth

Nut Butter

Grapes/Jelly Beans/Yogurt covered berries

One snack that is scary delicious is Monster Teeth. This simple yet tasty treat can be made with the family and makes a spooky addition to any party! You can start by using any type of apple you prefer and cutting it into reasonably large slices with the skin on. Now, this is where you can add your personal touch! Choose any type of nut butter you like, whether natural peanut butter, almond butter, or sunflower butter. You are going to slather the apple slices with the nut butter of your choice, and then you will add your “teeth,” because what monster is truly complete without their teeth? For the teeth, you can use green grapes, white jelly beans, or even yogurt-covered berries for a true teeth-like effect! Once they are all assembled, all that’s left is to serve and watch them disappear!

Boo-nana Pops

Small chocolate chips

Skewers/popsicle sticks

This simple but tasty treat requires just three ingredients and is a great make-ahead snack that you can keep in the freezer. First, you will start cutting a whole banana in quarters, so there is one flat side. You will then insert the skewer into the bottom of the banana to be used as a handle for dipping and then eating. Next, you are going to submerge the banana half into your choice of yogurt fully. This can be any flavour you prefer, and once they are fully coated, it is best to put them onto a baking tray with parchment paper to stay flat in the freezer and easily remove them once fully frozen. The last step is to add your ghost eyes, so you will put two mini chocolate chips onto the banana and into the freezer they go! Once they are fully frozen, they are ready to serve and enjoy, and maybe spook!!

Candy Corn Parfait

Orange/tangerine slices

Whipped cream

This sweet treat is a real crowd pleaser! A healthy take on the infamous candy corn, which is sure to delight in this recipe. You only need three ingredients for this dessert, and the best part is that this treat is so quick and easy to assemble you can get the whole family involved. You want to make sure you have your fruit ready to go, so that includes breaking your orange or tangerine into small segments and cutting up your pineapple into bite-size pieces. To assemble this treat, you will follow the colours of the candy corn so that the pineapple will be the base, the orange/tangerine will be the next layer, and you can top it off with whipped cream! You can do homemade or store-bought. You can even use coconut whipped cream to make this treat completely dairy-free. Last but not least, garnish with a few candy corn on top, and you are ready to serve!

Whether you are hosting some Halloween guests or just having a cozy night in, these treats are sure to delight boys and ghouls of all ages!
