Vegan Hot Chocolate

Look no further than this awesome Vegan Mason Jar Hot Chocolate recipe! We've spiced the recipe up with some vegan product suggestions that can be found in our stores!

Vegan Mason Jar Hot Chocolate:

Ingredients for Hot Chocolate:
6 tbsp of Navitas Organics Cocoa Powder
2 tbsp of Chocolate Vega one All-In-One Shake
4 tsp of Raw Cane Sugar
8 tbsp of Enjoy Life Dairy Free Chocolate Chips
4 tbsp of Dandies Mini Vegan Marshmallows

Ingredients for Peppermint Spoons:
Crushed Candy Canes
Wooden cutlery Spoons


Carefully and evenly layer the Cocoa Powder, Chocolate Vega One, Cane sugar, Chocolate Chips and then mini marshmallows in a 16oz. Mason jar.

Place unwrapped candy canes in a food storage bag. Coarsely crush the candy canes using a kitchen mallet or rolling pin.

Remove half of the crushed candy canes and melt in microwave-safe dish (alternate option: melt at 300°F in the oven).

Dip a spoon into the melted candy, filling the spoon (act fast- it hardens quickly), and sprinkle with coarsely chopped candy pieces.

Lay flat on a piece of parchment paper to cool and harden.

Directions to make Hot Chocolate:

Remove marshmallows from jar.

Add one cup of your favorite non-dairy beverage and remaining ingredients in a pot and stir over medium-high heat until the desired temperature is reached.

Pour in mug and add marshmallows. Add peppermint spoon, stir, and enjoy!
